Welcome back for day two of the Clearly Besotted Stamps teasers!!
My card today features an amazing new stamp set (and coordinating dies!) called Christmas Cheer!
I had a lot of fun creating a scene with this set and even added in a stamp from 'Set the Scene' in an unexpected way! You'll understand better once you see the full reveal. ;)
Home For The Holidays
(I have no idea why the grey colour of the fireplace looks so different in the close-up)
To create the dimensional fire inside the fireplace, I diecut a bunch of the fire shape out, scored them down the center and then glued them back to back to create this accordian type fire. Just a really fun way to add some unexpected depth and dimension to a card. ;)
To create the textured look on the fireplace, I first stamped it with soft granite shadow ink from Hero Arts and then used various markers and pencil crayons to colour on it and add some shading. Makes it look like textured stone in real life. I love the final result!
Make sure to head on over the the Clearly Besotted Stamps blog to see all of the amazing projects that Stephanie and the design team have created! Amazing stuff!!
See you tomorrow for day 3 of teasers!!
